Show in Helsinki

Image Description
This shot was from a the Kiasma Museum that I promised in an earlier entry.
The thing Deanna is standing on is a spine leading to a big skate-able 'wave'.
During the opening, skaters came and shredded inside the museum.

Hollywood mixed with Homies...

My pal Mike Mills made his first feature film this year and it has come out with great reviews!

If you get a chance to see it, you should, because you would NOT be wasting your money.

He has a kick-ass website for the film that can be seen HERE...

Inside look at youth and being human?

I went to Helsinki a couple of months ago to take part in a big group exhibition at the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art. It is a place I had skated before with Arto Saari when we went to Finland together in 1999. He was telling me how the people from the museum were LETTING kids skate the ledges out front!! It was a pretty cool place. So I was stoked when someone from there invited me to have an art show there.

So I went, and they did an interview with me, and wrote a piece in thier Museum Magazine...

You can read it HERE

I will try to post some photos of the show later...

Bungwipes take heed...

Hello,

Welcome to my little cul-de-sac of lameness, my dead end on this information super-highway we call the internet.

I will attempt to update this news blog as often as possible with news and info about things going on in my life inside and outside of Toy Machine.

So, the first bit of info I have is my recently done interview on the SKATE MENTAL Website,
SkateMental.com

Check it out here.

Check back for more uselessness later...
