Speaking of R. Pettibon...

I was actually asked to shoot both Jason Schwartzman and Raymond Pettibon together...
BlackBook was doing a thing where two people interview each other. Jason is a big fan of Pettibon's art, and asked to interview him. So I show up to shoot this, and there are stylists and wardrobe people ready to do make-up on them! I sent them away.
I shot Polaroid positive/negative film. I gave one to Schwartzman. Pettibon is fucking nuts. He was spinning some serious BS to Jason!! He was talking about how he surfs giant waves, and played Tony Alva's stunt double on the Dogtown movie... (both lies)
