This guy bites you, and you are over. But don't just listen to me, take

Lurking in Bondi one evening...

Pissed because I ordered penne pasta and got spaghetti instead. All I ever ate as a kid was freakin' spaghetti.

We saw these
huge bats when we went to Featherdale... But these Bats, called
Grey-Headed Flying-Foxes are easily seen anywhere in Sydney. They
hang upside down in the trees at the
Royal Botanical Garden in the daytime and fly at dusk to feed on fruit elsewhere in the city. While walking around at night, you can see them
lurking in the trees, some
closer than others. Their bodies are seriously as big as a cat.

Circular Quay is in Sydney Cove, home of the famous
Sydney Opera House, and is pronounced 'key' not 'kway' like you might think. We went on a digi-cam photo-fest like the mega-tourists we were. Here is a
sweet one of the city skyline, and one of
Deanna. Then I tried to shoot one of
myself. We took
Jim Houser to see this spot for his first time.

Starting March 1st, we will each have a selection of photographs on show at the
ACP in
Sydney, Australia.
Click Here to see the invite with the info. And
here to see the whole photo of Taylor. Deanna will be showing a series of photos called "Your Logo Here," and I will be showing one wall of 35mm, and one of Polaroid 665 prints.

But we didn't want to go to a zoo. So I looked up
Featherdale Wildlife Park, which still had animals in cages and was a bummer, but also had a lot of free roaming animals, and does some conservation work. Plus it wasn't far from Sydney. So I rented a car, and did my first ever
driving on the wrong side of the road. (wrong for us seppos)
Austin was real amped to get a
close look at a
Koala Bear. Of course
Deanna thought they were
adorable. And
I thought it was cool how this little guy didn't give a crap about us, and
slept through our whole visit.

I'm in a vortex of time, lived one day twice, and then slept for 15 hours straight, somehow snapping right back into my nocturnal sleep pattern that I was hoping to change! Morning is 3 in the afternoon, dammit.

I have craploads of photos, I shot 29 rolls of film, and 621 digi-photos, so as I process this stuff I will post them and tell the stories. I did in fact hang out with a
wallaby, as shot here by Jim Houser. I also hurt myself skating, which ruined the skate part of my trip. I felt like a loser as I walked around being a tourist while the Emerica guys were out in the 90 degree weather trying to skate.
Serendipity is in the air...

There were ludicrious amounts of people there, some to see artwork, and many to get some free beers.
The
cops came to bust up the handsome young Sydney people up off the streets, and move them along into other more mainstream drinking establishments.
We had a great time in Sydney, checking out the
bats that lurked all around at night, and the
Shark-Rays in the aquarium with artist
Jim Houser who does lots of Toy graphics, and
Austin and Deanna...
Lots more to come later (when I get home...)

Going for 2 reasons. #1: to take part in
The Invasive Embrace group art show at the
Monster Children Gallery in Sydney. And #2: To film for the
Emerica video in Melbourne.
I may be a bit spotty with posting stuff, but I will try while on the road.

Although I only got photos of
Scott, who sometimes looks like
Guy Pearce, although this time he had on some new glasses. He was wielding great
electric power, as it was almost a full moon. He shot beams at me, and
Karate chopped some at me too.
Raymond I saw standing on a corner in
Santa Monica, and stopped to say hello. He gave me his address and said to stop by
anytime!
