News From January 2008

Stacy looks closely at my nose hairs.

Then takes her gum out to eat some chocolate.

Please.

Zoom out to
Hollywood Chrissy, aka
'Tokyo Marriot'

The girls obsessively shoot each other.

Stacy licked the bowl clean, no prisoners. I think my
RVCA Blog is still going, and the
Emerica Website is just heating up. And don't forget
Deanna's blog over at RVCA too.

The Emerica team meeting is a once a year event where the entire shoe team gets together and talks about the stock market, skateboarding, and who should get kicked off the team. Andrew shows off his half-a-GRRRR.

Heath has warmed up to 'blogging'

Jetski about to fork over some Hamilton's.

That will take care of a few lap dances for Leo.

Ran into
Todd Cole on the street in LA. He was shooting a
billboard that
Mike Mills did. I also saw this
Tobin Yelland photo at the art fair. Spoke with my homie
Ashley Macomber last night, who is just back from her show in Mexico City. And check this out if you are a fan of
Robert Capa or photography in general...

Deanna helped me paint a wall thing at the 'Art LA' art fair. Just another art trade-show down in Santa Monica, California. Anyone can go! So if you like art it would be a great thing to do this weekend.

Lindsay shot me 'flossing my art' or
reppin' it. Here's an
uncropped view.

The governator was a big inspiration for this piece. I haven't done a
wall painting in a long ass time. Here is a
wider view. I was basically decorating the wall for this map I made. You want a closer look at that
lady?. This
guy was feeling her.

Team Templeton.

I just want to add that Geoff Rowley is one of my best friends. He is a fearless and unrelenting individual that does not live by cliches and labels, and in fact defies being labeled. Unlike me, he has never publicly drawn a line in the sand regarding his morals and ethics regarding veganism or vegetarianism by talking about it in an interview. Therefore nobody can take him to task for 'selling out' or being a hypocrite. The facts as I know them are that he eats very close to a vegan diet and does not kill animals wantonly. That is more than I can say for most Americans (or Britons.) Although our views differ on the subject of hunting, he has a great deal of knowledge about nature, and holds a great love and curiosity for its
beasts and beauty.

A lot of people commented asking what the fuck was going on, so Geoff posted a comment that I am reposting right below:
It was shot by my good friend Tony Hoza, one of the most respected lion hunters in the West, he retired from guiding after 40 years a few years ago and ever since has been trying to catch one really big cat for himself. In forty years he has only shot two other cats, one was in defense, the other was mounted and then later ruined when his house was flooded. This 170lb male cat was cleanly killed and all the meat packed out to be eaten. The thrill of the hunt is in the chase and the beauty of the surroundings, not the "kill" i have accompanied him on these hunts every year for the last five years and every time has been a pleasure, it is not for the timid or anybody out of shape as the days can be grueling with the snow at times waist deep for hours and the terrain very dangerous.
I'm smiling because i cannot pick the fucker up!!
Any comments?

Went to *^%%-Land for New years eve, but it was sold-out, so we had to endure some time at California Adventure...

Kevin (Christy) And Laura invited us, and Ashley came too! And Laura & Kevins' buddy Mahandra.

The Ferris Wheel was quite lame.

Were RICH!

I talked Deanna into going on the coaster with a loop...

It's safe to say, she was not stoked.
