It will be photographs, paintings, drawings, and personal junk from growing up. It is very much about living in Suburbia.

Sweet! I'll definetly get that then. I was gonna buy Golden age of Neglect first, but maybe i'll just get Defomer for now and Golden age later.

I can't find any of Ed's books! I tried to find "The Journal" and "Golden Age Of Neglect" but no luck! Any suggestions for "Deformer" and any other books written by the man himself I might be interested in purchasing?

you should be able to get "Golden Age..." from Amazon... It is not for kids under the age of 18.
Your mom will bust you for having it.

Golden Age will become real scarce soon, so I suggest getting that ASAP.

$55 is pretty harsh dont you think?
Posted By: john guy on January 28th, 2006 at 05:54AM PST
Dude Ed posts previews online or a sample PDF version you can download!

55 bucks won't be harsh in 7 years when it is worth 100 bucks.

Hey Ed.
Dig the site. Looking forward to the new book.
Just curious, but do you watch TV?
Posted By: Sean on January 28th, 2006 at 12:40PM PST
Yes, I watch TV, and it's a habit I NEED to break.
I got Tivo and it has really helped. You would think it would make you watch more TV but it doesn't.
Now I can work and skate all day, and know that what I want to watch will be there when I feel like relaxing at 2 in the morning and blobbing out on the couch. I mostly tape animated stuff that is funny. (Simpsons, Family Guy, Southpark) But now I started taping documentaries that are on when I would never be awake, and it is pretty rad. I just watched one on the artist Frida Kahlo. I tape The Daily Show too. My Friend Sean Cliver quit TV completely. He says he doesn't miss it, but he can barley talk to anyone about anything, because most conversations revolve around TV. Which really says a lot about where we are as a society...

Posted By: William Galindo on January 29th, 2006 at 10:10AM PST
it's 34 dollars on Amazon.
Posted By: candy says on January 29th, 2006 at 12:25PM PST
I don't have any control over how much it costs...
Posted By: ed on January 29th, 2006 at 05:20PM PST
Plus it is like 300 pages, so it has to cost more than a normal book.
Posted By: ed on January 29th, 2006 at 05:20PM PST
