Hanging with, Jim Goldberg? I'm not worthy!

Image Description Here
I went to Photo LA last weekend. It's a photography fair, filled with specialty photo bookstores, and photo galleries showing tons of prints. I went because Jim Goldberg, one of my all-time favorite photographers, was going to be speaking. He is part of Magnum Photo Agency, the gnarliest of the gnar. He also just won a grant from the Aftermath Project, which helps him continue his work on Migrants and Refugees around the world. I am very happy to know this great man.

tahts a pretty big honor.

ed, i'm sure you've read David Hockney's "Hockney on Photography".
i checked it out of my colleges library this last month, and after reading it, its very hard to look at photography in the same manner.

the questions hockney raises are stunning.

i don't think too many people are aware half of these thigns he points out.

really good book.
