Kurt Vonnegut is a famous writer. Google search him and read about him on Wikipedia.com

I own almost all of Vonnegut's books... Mother Night is my favorite, followed by Slaughterhouse-Five. He is one of the most interesting writers I have ever read. RIP Kurt.

Did you ever get to meet him Ed?
Posted By: Phil on April 12th, 2007 at 06:30PM PST
I saw him speak once in Irvine, but didn't get close enough to meet him.

A truly devastating loss.

The man is a genius.

"breakfast of champions" has always been my favorite.

If you read any of his last interviews, he mostly spoke of dying. He talked of taking a case against Pal Mal cigarettes for not giving him cancer and killing him. He will be missed but he truely was ready to go.

I love vintage paperbacks. I bought a couple of his books a few years back, none of the ones pictured. I've yet to get around to reading them though. I will someday.
