If you read any of his last interviews, he mostly spoke of dying. He talked of taking a case against Pal Mal cigarettes for not giving him cancer and killing him. He will be missed but he truely was ready to go.

I love vintage paperbacks. I bought a couple of his books a few years back, none of the ones pictured. I've yet to get around to reading them though. I will someday.
