Girls near the HB skatepark. All of these polaroids are from 1995...

From around the time we were shooting Deformer, a film by Mike Mills.
(and soon to be a book by yours truly...)

Wishful suicide with fake gun. Oh to be dead. Do you ever wonder?

Deanna on the balcony.
.................................. So much happened in that apartment...

Before me bought a house, we lived near the HB park and would skate it every day. Still skate it a lot.

Running by the buffed messages from the people to the public.

I think Mike wanted us to do a sex scene with real sex.

Polaroids are great for shooting dumb photos of yourself naked.
You can shoot them and keep them secret so nobody can see them.

Or just put them on public display at art shows or on the web!

That was a lot of hair, er, schlong to edit out. Luckily in '95 I was way skinnier.

Polaroids are great because you can manipulate them before they develop. Deanna hides under the covers.

This is Ron Cameron, I used to call him Rim Chew (because of his RC initials) but he really didn't like it.

So I stopped. He has done some graphics for us.

Mike Mills himself takes a slash on my shred-sled. I hope you enjoyed this random sampling of old Polaroids.
