We are still in Bologna, Italy. Deformer will be out in stores this SEPTEMBER worldwide.

It was funny to see a trashcan filled with messed up pages from the book.

There were
palettes of sheets everywhere. Each sheet gets folded in a certain way, then the edges get cut off, and each one of these is called a 'signature'. If you look closely at a book, you can see that it is made up of these 'mini-magazines' stitched and glued together.

One of the sheets on the table for quality inspection. They look for color shifts, and use a super magnifying glass to make sure the registration is perfect. I was blown away by how much goes into making a book.

Then we hit the town and had lunch, passing the squirting boobie fountain on the way...

We found a store and went directly to the ice-cream section to see if they had these Soy ice-cream cones we had heard about. They did!

We pigged out and ate 2 each. They are totally soy based, and 'Vegetale' is the Italian word for 'Vegan'.

Then I went back to
Damiani so I could sign the 200 special edition prints that will accompany the special slip-cased edition of the book.
