New Years Eve 2009 and into 2010
Did anyone see Dick Clark? That made me sad. But then I kissed into the new year...
What is this you may ask? It's (fake) Butter...
...And a whole jar of brown rice syrup. Chrissy was making Caramel.
On top of that whole jar of brown rice syrup, is a fistfull of brown sugar too. Check out that whisking action.
Pizza made from scratch, and salad. These are the salad days.
This was the new years moment. See Frog Rock (catalina island) in the background?
Then out to shoot off fireworks Billy Marks left in a tour van over 5 years ago. There was so much that I still have some. Yes that is one tiny rocket lifting off back there.
Roman candle fight!
Deanna was scared to light them!
Oh yeah, art.
The caramel was done, and so were the brownies.
Rich and chewy. I called a corner piece.
With some Soy Dream Ice cream on top, who said being vegan was hard?
Lets get closer to that.

Ahhh the annual (bimonthly?) roman candle/fireworks fight to ring in the new year! Makes me all warm and cozy feeling inside. That dessert looks so fucking great. Did you have a hand in that brownie magic Stacy?

The fake butter is called "Earth Balance," we use that because Margarine is really bad for you.

Ed, this may seem a bit personal/off topic so I understand if you don't want to answer....but I'm curious, why no kids?
Deanna and you have been together for a long time now; baby's are a natural product of baby making and I'm sure (since you are human and its only natural) that the making is getting done at your pad...so yeah,do you plan on gracing us with a picture perfect impossible busting baby to carry on the Templeton legacy or not?
