The most epic beach day where we rented a boat and found a deserted stretch of unspoiled beach I only shot ONE photo. Just this shot with my digi-cam. I don't think I even shot one with my Leica at all. This is it. I dropped off the crew, then went out to anchor the boat leaving my cameras behind. You can see the beach and cave exploration on
Grant's blog.
One of the many reasons I don't eat
dead animals.
The next day we drove north in search of a beach I had read about, Il Pevero. We followed the signs, and after parking had to take a hike down a dirt path.
Town of Arzachena, Province of Olbia Tempio, "
The Pevero" Beach.
What a secluded little gem of a beach.
The only dark spots in the crystal clear water over white sand was some wood dust hovering over said sand.
The water was very shallow and you could walk out quite far before being overhead.
Ashley forgot her bathing suit at home, and had to wear a bra and panties into the cool Mediterranean Sea. What does Grant have?
A hermit crab trying to score a bigger shell for himself.
Deanna enjoys her dip into the clear sea.
"It isn't what they say about you, it's what they whisper." -Errol Flynn
Grashly rolling deep, Italian island style.
Yeah, we found vegan cones afterwards.
The drive back was spectacular along the coast, driving along those nooks and crannies.
Back in Olbia we visited a church.
Even Olbia has it's charms.
