Me photo nerd doesn´t know what you´re saying..
That thing looks like a becher, wich is a german word for cup.
Then there was this nazi dude named Becher...head/chief/
motherf. of one of the jewish ghettos.
Then there was the german writer Becher.

Maybe a ghetto becher is just something like a ghetto bird?
Bro, your knowledge is killing ...far too intellectual for me;
Can´t you just put up some of the pics you share with DanLu;?

Did you get a portrait?
I did, my first time in Paris, I think I was 10.
It looked like Limahl. Do you guys remember Limahl?
Limahl´s the shit.No.

Dude with the suit and glasses looks like someone who solves
all your problems for a shitload of money. That´s the kinda guy
I needed back then in Kindergarten.

Typical Italian sandwich? Not with you lady.

Is that a baby pissing on that postcard?
Shit. For your pedophile buddies at home?
Old lady are into that stuff too and 69% of the vatican I guess.

John, not john?
That´s what I would like to know, too.
I thought John is a 15/16 year old dude from the Sockteam...

MORRISSEY STATEMENT 29 July 2011

The recent killings in Norway were horrific. As usual in such cases, the media give the killer exactly what he wants: worldwide fame. We aren't told the names of the people who were killed - almost as if they are not considered to be important enough, yet the media frenzy to turn the killer into a Jack The Ripper star is .... repulsive. He should be un-named, not photographed, and quietly led away.

The comment I made onstage at Warsaw could be further explained this way: Millions of beings are routinely murdered every single day in order to fund profits for McDonalds and KFCruelty, but because these murders are protected by laws, we are asked to feel indifferent about the killings, and to not even dare question them.

If you quite rightly feel horrified at the Norway killings, then it surely naturally follows that you feel horror at the murder of ANY innocent being. You cannot ignore animal suffering simply because animals "are not us."
Posted By: ed on July 30th, 2011 at 12:36AM PST
"Furthermore I´d like to excuse for beeing misunderstood or if this was ripped out of the context or at least that it was the wrong place and time and context to do so.My heart is with those innocent young people,
who were probably sitting at the campfire, playing acoustic guitar and maybe singing some of the good ol smiths songs or even my own.I also excuse for breaking those young hearts that tried to find solace in my songs.Looking at my record sales I can imagine there were quiet a few amongst those 100.000 at the memorial."
Please keep buying my records.Thankyou.

I searched for some video footage of that show, but couldn´t find.
Maybe it´s ripped out of context, or as the media likes to do misrepresented. But as he says in this statement: "The comment....
could be further explained...." So it wasn´t that much misrepresented what he said. And I agree on what he says about givin this guy a platform and coverage. But again totally wrong to relate those things.

"You cannot ignore animal sufferings", who did that especially in this subject. He´s totally mixing stuff up for his own interests.

In that context I read some of his earlier utterances.
"Killing a stag is like killing a child. What's the difference?" ...
Come on.I truly support animal rights, but you can´t ask something like that. What´s the difference?Well maybe that child grows up, starts a band and sings about meat is murder wich turns thousands of people into vegans wich turns this ball into a slightly better place.Even for these stags.

As you can see I don´t agree with his way of dealing with this subject.
And his statement doesn´t make it any better and is no explaination at all.It explains something but not what he said in first place.

I just felt you posted this statement here to start some sort of thought exchange. If not, well fuck me.
Posted By: S on July 30th, 2011 at 04:32AM PST
I want to add that Human life is more important than animal life. Morrissey should have made a clear distinction. If I had to kill a human or a chicken, I'm killing the chicken. I'm vegan for 20 years now, and not into killing, but a massacre of humans is much worse in my book than the constant killing of chickens. I wouldn't exchange one human life for a billion chickens.
Posted By: ed on July 30th, 2011 at 10:24AM PST
If you see death as death. And you think death is wrong. It makes sense.
But It's also true in a more primitive sense and biblical, no surprise that they're in the same category, to value human life more.
Then again death is part of the circle of life and shit will never stop dying.

I guess last of the famous international playboys wasn't about a killer then

Jgonz´s living large;
My girlfriend would never allow me to do so;
But that´s really a lot.A lot!

I just saw that Morrissey will be in Eindhoven in August wich an 1,5 hour
ride away from here.I thought about going there but after his last statements, I don´t know.I don´t think I could enjoy celebrating the
man on stage like I would like to.Wich is kinda sad.I think I spend these
80 Dollar in some books and give the change to soem homeless folks;

Don´t get me wrong, there´s nothing wrong with buying that smiths box I guess.I just realized that I don´t like the man that much to let him get away with stuff like that just because I like his music.

Maybe I´ll go there to take some pictures of the crowd and the whole scenario before and after the show. And there´s also a good skatepark just around the corner...We´ll see.

But speakin of artistic works from vegans.I ordered Teenage Kissers some weeks ago, hope that will find it´s way to my mailbox soon...
Can hardly wait.

Additional Concert story.
I know someone who seriously likes Prince. Can´t blame me..
And he went to his show two days ago.Almost 200 Dollar..
And then that little guy showed up almost 1,5 hours too late, played one song, left the stage with no comment for another hour, came back played 50 Minutes and that´s it.People were pissed.
Just imagine 50 year old bank clerks getting pissed. What a funny picture.
Like throwing their ties on stage;
The world is full of crashing divas, I guess.

I saw that Morrissey thing also, it was on the news here in Norway. All the names of the victims have been released theese last few days over here. There have been many articles about the different youths killed in Utøya so it's not true that only the killer gets attention after a massacre, but he does get too much. I understand that Morissey wanted to put fokus on an industry that kills animals in a horrible way, but comparing it to Utøya was a bad idea that really shook most people in Norway and especially the people that knew the victims. It's not the same to shoot a bunch of chickens as to massacre tens and tens of teenagers on an island.

are any of you guys on instagram ? my username is ginaemilie if you wanna check it out... I just joined.

Emilie, S Van,

Morrissey should better have distinguished between the value of human life over animal life. Especially at this sensitive time. BUT, perhaps he has no distinction? I would assume that if he were asked to choose between a human and chicken or cow he would choose the human. As I age I detest human beings more and more, and there are some humans of such low quality that it might give me pause to make a choice between their life and an innocent animals', but still no matter how bad the human, I choose them over another non-human being for the record. But maybe Morrissey has crossed that line, and he prefers the cow to the human. It's not like being a fan of someone and then finding out they are a racist. That would change my view of their art. But Morrissey's character flaw in this case changes nothing of my opinion of his music or his greatness. His passion for animal rights tripped him up in this case.
Posted By: ed on July 31st, 2011 at 02:32PM PST
I doesn´t change my opinion about his music and greatness either.
Do I sound so?That´s not what I wanted and meant.
(we´re still cool, aren`t we; ?)

I agree with what you say.
I won´t dump his records and be the disapointed teenage fan,
who found out that he´s a racist. Or heterosexual, married with 5
children and fooled the world like MilliVanilli.

I will continue judging the man by his music and that´s what I always
did so far. You´re right.

And I also agree that there are people of low life quality and morals..
Well in some cases... I would def choose a chicken or a amoeba over
let´s say Hitler. But as you said..

Again, I just don´t think that I could fully enjoy his show and his
presence right now like I would like to.He made that disappointing,
brutal statement at a show, while people wanted to enjoy his music
and person and maybe also what he stands for, but he used that
situation to mix stuff up and (from what I read so far) disappointed
lots of fans, vegan or not.
Maybe that´s juvenile and harsh too, but it´s just the way I feel about
it at this point.

And I also agree that he maybe has no distinction and crossed a line,
wich is kinda strange to me, but that´s his opinion he probably can afford.Just because he makes great music doesn´t neccesarily mean that he a has a great view on all aspects of life or that I/we will agree with.

Let´s move on.
The three new songs I heard aren´t that good, are they; ?
Posted By: S on July 31st, 2011 at 03:57PM PST
I respect your opinion S Van, I was just posting more thoughts. We're cool!

Get your copy of Swords out.
Play Because of my Poor education. Maybe an apology.

Johnny Marr is all over Twitter. Voicing his opinion everyday. And Morrissey says a sentence or two at a live show and it made a big splash.

Morrissey's new rockabilly pop punk. The Kid's a Looker is alright. Kinda funny how aggressive his newer music is even though he's becoming old. I really liked because of my poor education though. I know the piano is super cheese..but whatever. Action is my Middle Name is kinda meh. I still trip on when I was in a CVS and I'm Throwing my Arms around Paris was playing over the P.A.

I remember in an interview Morrissey said his favorite food is Yogurt. That was unique.

Your girlfriend really wouldn't let you pay that much for it? I think my girlfriend knows who I already was in love with beforehand. The t-shirts, influx of new records, and massive iPod plays.

I'm now following @ginaemilie

Funny Prince story. I guess at a certain point showmanship isn't totally necesarry when your name, or symbol, sells itself.

I've been a smiths fan for years and still will be :) I think you are correct about Morrissey not being able to choose between an animal and a human any more Ed. He must have crossed that line. I bet he met alot of bad people in his life to have this negative perspective on human life.
