Anniversary trip: London, part 1

And finally we got to London. (this was Nov. 13th)

We arrived just in time to the Christmas preparations. Hustle and bustle was happening all around. In Covent Garden, a street performer did stunts/haggled for money next to a big decorated tree.

Should have shot this on film, it could be art.

The mood was festive and the ornaments were also disco balls.

Walking through SoHo on our way to book shopping.
8530img0377.jpg
And where best to start but the best photo bookstore in London? Claire de Rouen's.
8530img0387.JPG
There was a light haze in the ether conjuring thoughts of the prototypical London you read about.

Crossing the bridge to the Queen's Jubilee walk and Southbank.

At the carousel with nobody using it, the attendant has time to catch up on the latest fashion trends.

But it spun nonetheless, and the national colors gyrated round and round in the dimming dusk light.

Saw a version of the World Press Photo show of 2011, and this now famous photo of a Bull fucking up a bullfighter. Go Bulls!

crustie punks, old hippies, and teenagers usually picket outside the local bull stadium every time theres a bullfight.
i've only gone there to see concerts and a few shows, which is at the civic center, mexicali's equivalent of emb or love.
