rad, always loved this skate team and the artwork!

Because I am push processing them. I shot the 400 speed film at 800, so the person processing the film has to leave it in the chemicals longer. I "pushed" the film one stop.

I figured it was for processing reasons but I wasn\'t exactly sure what it meant. I wish there was somewhere more personal I could go to get film developed, other than shitty CVS. I envy those options.

If you live in a big city there should be a lab. I live in Orange County and I don't trust any labs here. I drive to LA and use a lab up there.

Pushing film. Duh. Jk.
Hmm. I know when you leave the film in the chemicals it. Uh. I forget. Yeah. I go to Costco. But. When I processed my own film and my prints and negatives were shit. But. I wonder how CVS or Costco's film process works. Mechanized?
You burst my 1000 comment bubble. Dude. If everybody that likes your Fb page left a comment.

I used to prosess my own b&w but I had to send the color films in the mail. Now I am to lazy to develop anything, I just shoot photos with my phone. Im kinda into the whole thrash gritty crap look so I guess its an excuse I'll use for now, no soft focus for me.
You are selling photos for New York magazine? that is very cool. Being a travel photographer must be one of the sickest jobs you can ever get in this world, in my opinion.

emilie. Another instagram victim.

Kodak.Get em while you can.
Always shoot with the BW400CN.
What a shame these great films will disappear soon.
Posted By: S on April 18th, 2012 at 03:42PM PST
I wonder what images those film canisters contain. Future classics?
Does emilie have an instagram? haha
I found film that they were throwing out at work a couple weeks ago. 400 speed, color, kodak film. It's expired, but I don't know if that really matters. So I took it. But don't tell no one.

Good question, Mike! Does Emilie have a insta?
I enjoyed the feature in Vegnews mag! Ed T the "Thoughtful Thrasher".
I'm officially looking for a new job, I'm quitting the beef as soon as I get another job. I made a resume and put it online! Sucks spending your Bday looking for a job but oh well.
I know nothing about photography so I'm gonna go study some! I was watching T.V and this camera expert guy was saying that Leica's, especially the older models are very pricey! (you guys probably know that already)
I really like the name "Television" for a skate company name.

dumb question, what camera you using to shoot your 120 stuff with these days?
Posted By: //d. on April 19th, 2012 at 06:17AM PST
That\'s a sweet Tumblr. I really like that photo!
Is it ust me or does this guy kinda look like Dan LU?
Posted By: Josiah on April 19th, 2012 at 10:10AM PST
Photography is retarded.
check out how much this guy is selling his photos for
375 for a photo you can take with an app now. fuck.
I think the dumbest question i've seen was somebody asked Olson if he used 35mm film. fail.
must be cool finding your work on Tumblr. all the notes. and seeing what users also reblog and what your work is associated with.
expired film should be all good. I guess, if anything it has cool effects. maybe pop it in a shitty camera for fun.
wow. I just realized that was 120 film in the first photo. now that I look at this post from a desktop CPU. still using that Fuji thing? I want to shoot more 120. but it's a pain to go to the little local place and pay whatever. it's just more work. but it's soooo worth all the Tumblr notes.

Also how well does portra hold up when it's pushed? I don't think I've ever seen it pushed before.
Posted By: //d. on April 19th, 2012 at 02:47PM PST
I shot all my photos on expired film the year i went to the Roskilde festival. Most of them came back all grey-looking, but one film got this really cool purple look. Yes I have instagram, but I take no pride in the photos haha. Im not a photographer or anything, but I have a collection of old cameras that I use from time to time. The biggest problem is that developing film is really expensive in norway because so few use film these days. It costs over 20 $ to develop one film.
