Chuffed in London (and Glasgow)

More photographs from my trip to London and Glasgow last month.
Some Jews on the Queens walk, Southbank, London.
"All the truth in the world adds up to one big lie." -Bob Dylan
"If you can't find your inspiration by walking around the block one time, go around two blocks-but never three." -Robert Motherwell
Crying baby. "One day you are happy and laughing and the next you are crying." -Grete Waitz
"Anyone who says he can see through women is missing a lot." -Groucho Marx
"Seven out of 10 Americans are one paycheck away from being homeless." -Pras Michel
This was in Glasgow.
"Few people even scratch the surface, much less exhaust the contemplation of their own experience." -Randolph Bourne
The train stopped in Carlisle, UK, and I snapped this man from my seat.
Back in London, there were racists in the headlines.
"Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid." -John Wayne
"If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading." -Lao Tzu
The Glasgow police rides a pale horse.
"One can be instructed in society, one is inspired only in solitude." -Goethe

wow so many great shots in this post. The jews and the man smoking in the electric wheelchair stood out to me. Grete Waitz is from Norway, there is a sculpture of her running by my school. She is one of the most loved athletes from here. Sadly she died of cancer a few years ago.

"Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid." -John Wayne This quote is GREAT!

How did you feel taking that photo of the homeless man? It's a great photo but I would be very uncomfortable taking it myself.

3rd photo
yeah. It's super annoying. huh.

Oh man. in the rascal scooter and smoking. can't walk. can't breathe. It's easy to take something we take for granted away from somebody. then it fucks them up. like if you lose your jaw. you couldn't eat. or your fingers. then you couldn't grab anything. Imagine somebody with their feet chopped off running on their knubs. probably ABD, i'm sure that shit has happened. like somebody way back when did that to punish somebody then they ran away on their bloody knubs. like Ah man. I can't wear these fuckin nike blazers anymore. I just dropped 150 for them.

oh man. those racists.
nobody admits to ever being racist. not even white supremacists. I think they say they're anti racist since they want a world where racism wouldn't exist by separating races.

Rides a pale horse. Dead Milkmen. are you comparing the police to death? PUNX

that girl has gross shoes. like. It's a turnoff. and also when girls don't have anything like mentally there. like yesterday I was in a situation where somebody was asking somebody "who is the presidential candidate for the republican/democrat" whatever and "who is our governor" and she didn't know or care. it was sparked by the fact that she didn't know who Gaddafi was. and she wanted to see the new Sacha Baren Cohen movie. man. Da Ali G show was super good on HBO. and people love the movie Borat when it really isn't as good. The worst part in Borat was when they used that Highway song. kinda took the feel away that it was like some ghetto Kazakhstani documentary. Went in a totally Hollywood direction. laaaaame.

I like the geometry behind the dude sleeping. like mathematics next to a failed human. or deemed failure by society's standards. Math is pretty cool though. it's like the only thing that really is absolute truth. no matter who you are or where you are. you get the same answer. this is cool

functions and shit.

I would think life is easier when you're stupid. like the other day this lady got mad at a cashier since you can't buy Energy drinks on EBT. a Rockstar. We even have a sign on the drink cooler saying you can't buy it with EBT. sucks to know your tax dollars go towards buying sugary ass Monsters for Juggalos.

Have you guys ever seen that Movie high Rollers? It's a true story about orthodox Jews, just like the one's in that photo, these Jews basically get involved with trafficking MDMA (Exstacy), and are responsible for 80% of Exstacy smuggled in the Us during the 80's. It stars Jesse Eisenberg from that Facebook movie. It's really cool.

Watch it.

Nice Gonz photo Jgonz.

The guy in the 12th photo is so pissed or just having a bad day.

B&W always captures the soul.

Well it's always a pleasure to chat it up with you guys. See you all on the insta.

Ed, do all the skater's on Toy get paid the same or do you just pay by whoever gets more coverage???

Or are you even in charge of who gets what? I'm just curious of how it all works.

guys, check out this article. Its about the worlds first Skate-hotell. It just opened right on a mountain close by my hometown. Situated on the mountain in the forrest they built a huge outdoor, and a big indoor park with a hotel for the skaters to stay in. They are having summer camps and are allready sold out. I thought it was pretty cool. Norway dont have many parks at all and have been very little developed in terms of skatestuff untill recently. Skateboarding was illegal in the eighties!

Josiah, I actually wrote a paper in my bachelordegree about how jewish men were portraied in american cinema and based alot of my paper on High rollers. I thought it was a good movie with a funny story and a portraial of a complex young man.

@Emilie Ya I love that movie. Any time a person chooses a religion/lifestyle different from their parents is amazing.

@S,van take Jeff Haleran off the Toy sock blog! He's more into Black Box, after all he did work for them at one point. Maybe there can be a section for Loyal pawns that don't comment here. I believe that only the prime choice of the loyal pawns like us deserve to have our names on the actual blog.
