Vans Skatepark.I read an article yesterday about how Vans is going to release more tech running shoes. yeah, looks like traditional skate shoe sales have been slipping. people are tired of the Vans silhouette that has cast it's shadow over pretty much every skate shoe company in recent years. People seem to be popping boners over Cupsole shoes too.

hey all fellow commenter's. I've been reading all the comments on the last few posts from before I went on my camping trip. Good to be home and back on this blog again, I missed it. So many beautiful pictures in the last posts, i really like the teenage smoker in this one. I am so tired, I just came home from a 27 hour drive from Lofoten which is above the polar circle. I guess skaters is used to long drives on trips. It sure can be exhausting. When I was up there I camped on a beach where surfers ride the cold waves. The water is about 30 degrees Fahrenheit so they use dry-suits. I asked if they were cold and they told me that with the suit they were as warm as if they were surfing in Hawaii. Weird, and cool. I shot some photos of them but I only brought my 18-105 mm lens and it just didn't do the job. I read an article about a couple of norwegian surfers that lived on a beach up there for a whole year just to surf. They started to notice a lot of garbage being exposed in the sand and coming in with the waves so they started collecting it to clean up. In that year the two of them gathered over three tons of garbage on that one beach! imagine all the garbage littering the sea. Garbage island. check out the pictures in this article if you want. (some of them have low quality, I don't know why).

Wow. that's pretty cool to see what a difference two people can make. Inspiring shit for all the people that shrug it off as what difference can one person make since everybody else is polluting anyway. Apathy. We're all victims of it. Procrastination too. Like I should shower right now.
