Photos shot from the car...

All of these photos were shot from the backseat of the tour van on the recent Emerica tour from the south up to Detroit for Go Skateboarding Day.
Sucks being in the back seat shooting through tinted windows but you take what you can get. Shoot first, sort them out later.

From the south to detroit. hm. Really cruising through middle america. The forgotten side. Or at least what comedians pick on. I've never been there though. So I'm trusting these photos are a good representation of what average life is like.

I always wonder how people with big stomachs look naked. Like the first guy. Can you see his dick? What psychological damage does not being able to see your dick have? Or there is so much fat you're reduced to only having a tip? Not only are you sexually unattractive the porn you watch makes it worse since the guys are all 9+. A possibly false representation of common people.

Bucket hat and running shoes. Clothing selections. Some people look like they wander into whatever local store that is in their geographic location and buy whatever costs the least just for the sake of not being naked. As skaters we tend to be nitpicky and make fun of people that make bad decisions.

Speeding car. I'm not sure if my license is suspended right now or not. I think i'm good. but don't really want to hit up the DMV to make sure. idk.

The last photo looks kinda more timeless. the allure of 99 cent food choices. As inflation increases the quality of 99cent food diminishes also. You can blame Barack Obama for that. It's easy to point the finger at one person. Since he's responsible for every aspect of Government.

New life. Depeche mode. About new lives, I saw on Twitter there was an account for Wimpy from Popeye. none of the tweets were about Wimpy or Hamburgers. all of the tweets were just crap trying to push conservative views. Begging for retweets.

PS I just bought Good and Evil the other day off of Amazon. (i've been living off my downloaded copy for a long time. and youtube) and I just watched some of the bonus material. wowzers. Matt B eating Pringles and drinking an Arizona tea. I didn't know Arizona existed back then.I almost bought pringles too, since I just got home before from the store. but Matt looks so young. braces and hair straightener. Our overlord's slam to the face was gnarly. and Josh flipping off the camera.

Today I woke up at 7 and went skating early. It was nice. Croser Luiser.

It's kinda funny that downloading an "illegal" copy of Good and Evil is what turned me into a pawn. (suck on that RIAA) I searched for "skateboarding" on WinMx and my life hasn't been the same. Before youtube you had to download all this shit.

These photos look like they were taken in some post apocalyptic scenario.
A few lonely and aimless survivors prowl around empty streets searching for a reason of their survival. Some of them look like they were sleepwalking in a bad dream.I don´t know much about the situation in the midwest(?) but these photos seem to be a great portrayal of that situation and atmosphere.

Detroit seems like a lonely place. Ask Marshal Mathers!

I think Stacy likes me. She said thanks for the nice comments in insta.jk but she did say thanks.

Who got the front seat? haha

I love the scooter guy's face. Why are scooter pictures so awesome?

Josiah, I tagged you in that picture thinking you hadn't seen it and weren't following Stacy, but right after I tagged you, I saw that you were already following her haha, I should have known.

JGernz- What happened to your car?
Posted By: Mike on July 10th, 2012 at 09:15PM PST
Since I bought a car I needed to show proof of insurance. And since I blew it and didn\'t have insurance for days they suspended my license. So I got insurance and went online to put my insurance info in and then pay the 14 dollar reinstatement fee. I wasn\'t sure if the 14 dollar fee was processed or not. I\'m pretty sure it was though. LOL. Car shit.

Josiah, ha. you\'re lucky your GF doesn\'t have Insta or goes on this website. Or is she ok with your obsession?

you guys won't believe this. but my captcha is "dickman fgtgove"

haha I actually didn't see that photo of Stacy till Mike mentioned me. So it's all good.

Yea my Gf doesn't have a Insta or Facebook or anything. She says she doesn't wanna be like everyone else. But I don't look at it that way, I really like it for the skate world.

She is constantly telling me to "get off your phone". As far as the Toy site goes, it's cool. I've been commenting on this site for awhile now, so she's used to it and know's I'm gonna do it regardless.

I like this form of social networking the most, simply because it's just us. I know more or less of who's gonna read this stuff. It's a lot more comfortable.

Sweet I wish my captcha was dickman.

What kinda car you got Jgonz?

Wells Fargo a bank that the Maloofs that are one of the largest single shareholders in has recently been under fire for more than a few shady dealings.

1) The bank owns huge amounts of stock in private prisons. Wells Fargo is the company?s second-largest investor in GEO Group, the second largest private jailer in America. It holds 4.3 million shares valued at more than $72 million.

Abuses in these private prisons/jails have been widely documented and include wrongful deaths (both from assault and lack of medical care), rape and other sexual abuse, and other violent treatment of prisoners. With the financial support of Wells Fargo GEO is successfully able to lobby for private prison contracts and laws that enforce tougher sentencing for various crimes.
Posted By: Jgonzalez on July 15th, 2012 at 08:25PM PST
2)Wells Fargo recently busted for racist lending policies.

Wells Fargo will pay at least $175m to settle accusations that it discriminated against African-American and Hispanic borrowers. Wells Fargo "engaged in discriminatory lending practices against qualified African-American and Hispanic borrowers - thereby violating the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and the Fair Housing Act" from 2004 to 2009. Non-white borrowers were also steered towards riskier sub-prime loans, while white customers received standard loan terms, the Department of Justice said.

3) Wells Fargo Refuses to Pay Taxes and Treats Normal Workers as Expendable (even when profits are enormous)
Posted By: Jgonzalez on July 15th, 2012 at 08:26PM PST
Wells Fargo for spent $11 million on lobbying and did not pay any taxes during 2008-2010, instead getting $681 million in tax rebates, despite making a profit of $49 billion, laying off 6,385 workers since 2008, and increasing executive pay by 180% to $49.8 million in 2010 for its top 5 executives.

Some information about the Maloofs
The corporate side of skateboarding.

The author of this isn't me. no credit to me.
Posted By: Jgonzalez on July 15th, 2012 at 08:29PM PST
hahaha damn Jgonz. I'm feeling a little cautious about working their now. Thanks for the heads up. I just need a job for now. I'd rather be a skater full time but I'd probably be considered a bum by most people. I'm kinda okay with that. I just want to skate. I've been skating skate park a lot lately. I'm getting better. Toy Machine watch out! I'm gonna make you guys rich!!!!

Nah but Wells Fargo is corrupt as shit. They pay 10.00 to 11.00 dollars an hour. The interview is over the phone, this Wednesday. Beats working for Beef.

I seriously don't wanna real job though.
Posted By: Josiah on July 15th, 2012 at 09:31PM PST
I had to go into Wells Fargo to cash I check, I gave them $3 and still feel dirty for it
