On the way out of Long Beach harbor, the ubiquitous Queen Mary.
Fast forward through all of the boat ride, and the direct walk to Joe's Rent-a-Boat, and the boat cruise past Willow Cove where someone was camping meaning we had to find another beach to have our picnic on. We settled on Torqua Springs. (Willow Cove/Pinnacle Rock where we usually snorkel and eat our lunch is the exact spot
where this happened on May 6th.)

There were plenty of Leopard Shark, Shovelnose Guitarfish, Sting ray and Bat rays lurking here.
When a Sea Lion is resting they sometimes look like a shark from a distance because they keep a flipper up in the air like a fin.
But the fact that this guy let us get fairly close to him and never moved from his position, we fear that he was injured in some way.

To cap off the day, on our boat home a huge pod of dolphin frolicked among us.
