US Open in HB part 2

Here is more of the images I shot during the US open of Surfing here in Huntington Beach.(These are scanned from a proof sheet, so forgive the quality.)

Promoting beer on the beach while police actively ticketed anyone with a beer on the beach.

Lurking by the puddle did not get me the results I was hoping for.

This kid was showing me the ticket he got for smoking in public.

Heavy Metal Swimming.

This kid, buddy of the ticketed kid, was showing me the tab of acid on his gums, and his brand new Deathwish tattoo.

I'm going on a cabin trip to the woods with my whole family for the weekend. It could be exhausting to be stuck with my family for a weekend, but it can also be great. Wish me luck.

Josiah: you should have checked my dogs anal glands.....sometimes there's a horrible smell from him.

I like the woman behind the keyboard man, she kind of looks like Divine from the John Waters movies, especially in pink flamingos.
That picture of the acid kid is really good. You could use that in a show in my opinion "teenage drug abusers"

All caught up. I house-dog-bird-sat for my Aunt and hadn't really been on a computer.

I can't wait to go to California. I need to fucking go. All these pictures make me realize I need to go haha. I've heard that the water is colder there than here in New York though...My meteorology teacher said that there is an upwelling current, which brings the deep cold water toward the surface by the beach, versus here where we have a downwelling current. He knows what he's talking about but I just don't wanna believe that the water is warmer here haha. Although, crazy shit has been happening here. Someone caught a Marlin in Montauk, I saw dolphins at the beach and heard that they closed the beach yesterday due to sharks. From what I've read experts believe it's because the water is unusually warm, so the animals are coming closer to shore. I think I heard that sharks usually stay 15 miles off shore, but now they're coming to the beaches. I just watched Jaws for the first time this week...a little late, but it was good, as expected. I don't want to see any real life Jaws shit happen

The photo of the girl that was lifted is an instant classic. It looks iconic of southern California. I like the Heavy Metal Swimming photo. That would be an awesome series but it seems so rare to see in real life hahah

It's so crazy how they would promote beer on the beach but arrest you if your drinking their. It's a trick!
