Australia in 1995

I recently found an old box of negatives and took them to the lab to be proof sheeted so I can ad them to my archive. These negs are from a 1995 trip to Australia with Tobin Yelland, Max Shaaf, Ethan Fowler, Sean Cliver, and Deanna.

Finding a box that takes you back in time. That's awesome.

Please, please, please let me post what I want.
God knows, it would be the first time.

Max Schaaf?
Max Schaft would be a good porn star name.

Slick haired skinny Tempster. Bienvenue au HELL

Australia always seems to look so foreign but if you told me this had been shot in Montana, I wouldn't have questioned.

I really want Sean Cliver's book. Essential book.

Just looked at the Zumiez couch tour. Adidas team in says Mark Gonzales will be there..........I wanna go but I feel like there's no way he'll be there. Otherwise I'll be seeing Leo, Silas Baxter Neal, Jaws, Matt B, Dakota Servold, Nick Merlino, and Nick Trapasso in NYC. Tum Yeto riders getting on Neff. What happened to Adam Dyet?
Posted By: Mike on May 25th, 2013 at 03:23PM PST
Shit. If you can go see the adidas team,go man. I mean, who else will you see? Nestor Judkins, Silas....uhhhh. I think Zumiez stocks adidas now? I've heard of people getting pairs of Buzenitz' shoe from there. He must be stoked they carry his shoe.

Neff team in NYC?
Yeah man, Adam repped neff super hard. Kind of had the perfect image for the brand too.

I'm the queen of lurking now, so sorry.

I am loving these old photo sets. The old one of Ed is great, in a way he hasn't really changed much. That long tag about the waitress is very funny.

An old man died at my job yesteday, it was a strange and sad experience.

A milk bar? ha that\'s odd. I hope they had chocolate and strawberry milk!

So I hope all you guys are enjoying the Toy machine sock team instagram. I want to only mention the main peeps, which are you guys that comment here. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make it cooler, let me know!

@fresh thats awesome! I would go to Alaska if I had the money.

I had a Darkstar/Adam Dyet board and it broke super easy.

Old people are kinda scary.

Dakota Servold is Pro!!!!!!!!! Good for him. And good job on putting Blake fully on.

So happy for Dakota!! He is one of my top favourites. His pro board looks amazing. I think I'll get that for my wall, great artwork by Ed as usual. When can I buy it?
Posted By: emilie on May 29th, 2013 at 11:57PM PST

I work at a reception desk for the city where politicians, and other people who have buisiness with the city come to have meetings. This man came over and told me he was going to something that is called "the elder council" or something like that in english. It's older people who meet with politicians to discuss the rights of the elderly. He had come to early, but he wanted to wait upstairs, so I let him. After about an hour, when the meeting was supposed to be ending a woman came running down screeming that I had to call an ambulance. After only about two minutes the ambulance was there and I helped them get up there, holding doors and stuff like that. They took him to the ambulance, but did not drive away. He died in the car, or possibly before he even got there. He had died quickly and probably without even knowing it, just falling to the floor. I guess that's how most people including me wish to go. He was about eighty years old. It was still a little shocking for me, I had never been that close to seeing death.

@josiah @fresh You guys should read Jon Krakauers Into the wild if you already haven't. Such an inspiring book (true story) about a man who had the ultimate dream of living in sync with nature up in the great north, Alaska. If you are not a reader - see the film! its super duper too
Posted By: emilie on May 31st, 2013 at 05:17AM PST
Death is a very surreal thing
Posted By: Tenant on May 31st, 2013 at 12:24PM PST
I seen the movie into the wild, its based off that book. I love that movie! Yea he dies off of some poison plant.

Thats awesome Fresh, I might just apply. Right now I'm dog grooming.

Emilie- That story is insane. Can't believe that happened. Sorry to hear about it actually.

I really like Dakota's first graphic and I'm happy for him turning pro. Well deserved. Also stoked on Blake being a part of the team. NO WACK ASS RIDERS, right Josiah? Blake is not wack haha.

Im in North Carolina for the week, in the Outer Banks. Isn't Mike Sinclair from North Carolina? If you're reading this, recommend some good places to eat out here if you know any haha.

haha thanks @Jgonz, i remember that song from when I was like thirteen. My jackass fan period for sure. I remember being totally in awe after watching it for the first time at a friends house om MTV. They ate all the ingredients of an omelette, then puked it up again, cooked it and ate it.
Posted By: emilie on June 3rd, 2013 at 03:14PM PST
home movie

hahaha. Vomelette!Yeah my brother and I reference that a lot. like when we go out to eat and get breakfast I'm like "dude, get the vomelete."

pretty gnarly that dude passed away at your work. On the bright side i'm sure there's lots of fuels for jokes to be made. fuck though, RIP old dude. He was on a mission, on that senior grind. He was somebody. Pretty gnarly to trip on the fact that you were one of the last people to ever talk to that person.

PS I'm stoked on Blake too. video was great. Loving the Toy aesthetic in that clip. Ambient post hardcore music, ed T doodles, HD videos are looking nice. Good job KevZ. me gusta.
