Ed post

That food. LoL
Did you like get back to the hotel then bust out some snacks? Literally eating art, feeding the creativity. Yo that food is crazy. Did the art gallery or something pick up the tab? That would be sick.
Oh shit. The tweety cup. Wait is the bill for that place. Damn. Slippin'

I still have those emerica slip ons. People always ask me if I modded them. Naw. Anyway. Sick ass shoes.

Fuuuuuuuck 😫😫😫😩😩
What I would give to see you feeble that. Shit. I would buy you dinner or like ice cream.
Will you forever call tricks on spots you can't physically skate anymore? The curse of skateboarding? As you move into your senior years when slamming does irreversible damage. Ha imagine designing boards when you're 92
Get the autobiography. I want to nerd rant about it here

"No Kevin, that place is expensive enough, you´ll get the children's portion. If your docu would sell YOU probably could pay the bills and order what YOU like" Sorry.

But what a cool punishment that would be. Take your friend out to a fancy expensive restaurant and make him sit in front of the childrens portion all eve.

Plus there´s a remarkable resemblance between Kevin and Tweety.

Notre Dame from behind;)

that is some fancy ass food

is that the same notre dame where the hunchback feller spoke to gargoyle statues and got his game on that gypsy gal?
you better made out with deanna right there with that romantic view,
because i totally would of (not deanna of course, with someone else, maybe kevin?)

which napoleon is this, the one that got fed spoiled poison and fucked his belly in a deserted island? because there's a napoleon dynasty, right?
i was never taught french history in school, just american, roman, asian, and greek.
me such an ignora-tard

that round thing and the liquid,
it's a metaphor for the body and the blood of christ
that's why it's expensive
they robbed it from pope's fridge.
it's funney how catholics are cannibals in that sense.
eat your savior.

It´s funny to spend money to eat something that other people would pIace on their windowsill. Like with everything that comes in a fancy packing I wonder what only the decoration costs. And if you´re honest that´s not the nicest decoration. Did you like it?
If seen more exciting food and places on your food blog. But if the food was good and the guy had a Michelin, guess the price is fair for 3?
Wonder how much the water was. I´d say 12-15 for a 0,5?

Now that´s something I never get. If you´re not into alcohol drink something else fancy. To pay some, even a lot of money, more money than it makes any sense for some exclusive, good food is ok with me. To spend more money than my tapwater plus the packing would cost always gives me a bad feeling. But I also understand and know from experience that an event like this isn´t the place/moment to think/care about stuff like that.

I bet you could order a glass of virgin tears and they would bring it.
Fresh from a choirboy out of the vatican.
Did you try?

I like to drink beer from home before going out to save money.
I'm cheap. Keep my pint stretched for half the night.

0,5
So euro. Europe...I'll return one day. It's fun. I think going places is a goal in my life. Buying a boat and huge property seems lame.

When were those Emericas released anyway? I want to say 2008 or 9.

Just noticed those cheater chopsticks. Don't worry. I would use them too. My western fingers only know forks and spoons.

What are you guys gonna be for Halloween?
Posted By: Jgonzalez on October 28th, 2013 at 09:25PM PST
All of these photos have been super interesting. I really want to go to Europe, I have only been to two states in my entire life, pretty fucking lame.
Im getting a ticket to either NY, or LA when i get my tax return.

Those shoes are sick, I always miss out on the good ones since they're usually limited and I put off buying them forever.

I have always sucked at feebles, theyre a scary trick to me. Hopefully youre able to skate again soon

Did anyone dress up for Halloween?

I didn't.

I was a caveman!
Posted By: Josiah on November 4th, 2013 at 10:45AM PST
I dressed as an early 90's skater. Had a setup similar to the boards in the memory screen video. Snapback big ass flannel and goofy boy like dockers halfcabs or style 33's whatever. Then later I went out as a cholo. Tucked my tee in and out a bandana on. I was sick with a cold so I watched twilight zone with my gf and took some NyQuil/weed tincture and passed the fuck out

i improvised a bart simpson and had a small par-tay thing in my place.
not wild but fun nonetheless

that sucks about your leg, Ed. Do you have an expected time period of full recovery or are you pretty much AWOL on a skateboard indefinitely for an undertermined amount of time?

anyhow- it's cool to see you still jet setting and enjoying life regardless. I tweaked my ankle recently skating a flat bar and was super paranoid it was sprained, but it ended up getting better.

recently I did a charcoal portrait of you that I am willing to make prints of and send you but I don't know where or how to do so.

misterhengel@gmail.com

thanks in advance. :) I hope you get better. as always, you've been a huge inspiration to me over the years and the reason I got into skateboarding back in the mid nineties in the middle of some podunk town.

Do you guys like Frida's paintings??
Posted By: Josiah on November 11th, 2013 at 10:14AM PST
I don´t.
Posted By: S on November 11th, 2013 at 10:33AM PST
I like one Khalo painting I have seen, Henry Ford Hospital, 1932.
It's amazing, in my eyes.
Other than that, nothing has really popped out at me.

I just rented Everybody Street, I have been waiting for so long to see it. I already know it's going to be awesome
Posted By: Tenant on November 14th, 2013 at 11:48AM PST
I like Frida. the traces of feminism, the physical/mental suffering depicted in her work, her musings written in Spanish on her paintings and elements of traditional Mexican culture. Those things are appealing to me. Thorns around her neck, invoking the suffering of Christ, a martyr for her beliefs. Dramatic? Yes.

Everybody street was great, I should have bought it instead of renting.

I love Vivian Maier's photography, I couldnt get that link to load, but I saw a trailer to a documentary a while ago and it looked really interesting.
When I am not on my cell phone I'll try that link again
