GONZ Sighting!
We are sitting in our tour van at a red light in a random intersection of New York City.
Diego sees a dude on a bike do a super high bunny hop and says, "whoa! Did you see that?" Then the dude circles around and does this epic wall ride on his bike. Matt Bennett is shooting a photo of him. Then I realize, That is the fucking Gonz!!!!!

I saw Sonic Youth play here in Toronto two nights ago and they were good (they played 'Teenage Riot', 'Catholic Block' and one song off of 'Confusion is Sex which was amazing), but overall the show was a lot tamer than usual. I've seen them one other time and they seemed a lot more into the music, and there was more interaction with the audience... maybe they were just overtired and at the end of the tour?

Fuck yeah! I read a story about Gonz traveling overseas with nothing but a brown bag. And when security got tight he actually climbed on, laid down, and when through the baggage X-ray machine! "Jucof" The "Gonz" is Mark Gonzalez, one of the most influential skaters of all time.
