Skateboarding has a new network that does not involve "The Trade Show"
The Crossroads, a grass-roots "trade show" that is free and open to all. Look at Bob with his Smiths shirt on.
Dakota Flowage traded in that long hair and beanie for a perm. Smart choice for the summer heat.
The product was on display for all to fondle and caress.
Johnny wanted to lick the product but the bouncer wouldn't let him near it.
Austin was there too,
totally lurking.
Deanna and
Ed drove down from HB to partake in fellowship with the skate community.
My plan was to sit in the shade and let people come visit me rather than walk around and talk to people in the blistering sun.
My old skate-buddy from high school Jason Lee came through for a visit. Very pleasant talking about the old days and his growing family.
His Stereo counterpart Chris Pastras aka DUNE was there too!
Inside the skate park it was hot, sweaty, and surprising.
Back in the shade
Jake Phelps came to rage and berate all who surrounded him, and P-Stone appeared then dissappeared as he is prone to do.
The legedary
Mike Burnett caught up with the ever comely Austin.
Boosh was told to vacate the area, an affliction that dogs him in every waking hour.
Austin was contemplating going into the Shake-Junt stripper booth to see boobies and maybe even vulvas, but was turned off by the line to get in, and the strange scene that sprouted up around it.
If he had gotten in he would have seen Burn-dog airing off his ass in the fan. It had gotten real stanky from his pole dance routine which is a lot like a freestyle routine for those old enough to remember.
"I'll start again in five minutes everyone..."
The master cylinder. Tod Swank.
Billy Marks showed up to dazzle all in the best trick comp.
Did you know
Billy Marks is on Twitter? I didn't.
This is the scene that Billy thrives in.
And this scene too, but mostly the scene above.
