Dane Haman sent this in from the year 2000...

"Check out the attached dusty flatbed scan of an old print i found!  the year was...  well I'm not sure really.  musta been 2000 or 2001.  i was in high school cause that's when i screened my own pixies shirts, and that's when we used to drive down from Racine Wisconsin to Mundelien Illinois to skate 3r [ramp rail and roll - hopefully one of the last parks to name itself something so dumb].  the toy team came and we were fuckin stoked!  especially me cause ed was always my favorite pro [you can tell cause i look almost a little too happy in the photo].  i was nervous as fuck but i ran up to the van before you guys had even shut it off.  ed was super cool about posing for a photo right away.  i handed the camera to Caswell who had just lit a cig.  I was worried the smoke would obscure the photo.  he said "ok, ready, 1, 2, suck it." and took the picture.  ill never forget that.  its weird to have heroes but i think even weirder to not.  fuck it, I'm 26 now and still am hyped to see what you guys do - eds art and skating inspire daily.  I'm glad skateboarders recognize that shit too.  if i ever upload the footage from that demo ill try to send it over.  thanks!!" –dane haman

I'm in an asshole mood dude... I gotta stop rippin' on kids. It's a good thing that kids these days are into good things, such as Toy Machine. And weed.

fuck yeah. shit warmed my heart. I hope I can remember the good times I had on my board when I'm old and crusty, because god knows they feel like forever ago now at age 17.
