that park looks great, so many variations. Parks that are built up in areas and have some structural objects are so much more beautiful than the flat ones. And it usually doesn`t feel as crowded.

The blue mural with the wave-like forms are cool. I wonder if that is a synagoge, I see the star of David in there. Religious buildings are often very creative. There are alot of amazing looking mosques as well. They are not alowed to paint objects, animals or human beings so they have developed some amazing patterns.

I`m sure the grey slab looked better with grafitti. Still, it makes for a blank sheet of paper for new graffitti artists to decorate.

That Gaudi house looks like something out of a Tim Burton set. I guess Burton must be influensed from him.

that corner on the last picture is super cool.All these buildings must have been very expensive to build. So many details and special materials. There must have been some very rich people who had them built. How about public buildings? Are there alot of architectural wonders there?

Any remnants of native life are few and far between here, they seem to care more about preserving the early European settlers forts and living quarters than anything which was here before.
We do have the Montezuma "castle", the Casa Grande ruins, and the Navajo monument all in Arizona.
Aside from that we have some caves and fossil beds, but nothing you notice in everyday life.
I wonder how it would feel to go somewhere like Barcelona and be surrounded by history

Thanks fresh, sadly that box is gone. It was in the very bottom floor of the OHSU parking garage, skating slowly destroyed it and finally someone got rid of it.

I got my Zine today, the one by Ed and Clint. So good! Ed´s photos are mesmerizing. The one of Ashley getting her makeup done on the cover (and on the last page of Ed´s section) is incredible. She looks so beautiful, and it has a great silent mood.

I really like the ones that have obviously been taken candidly by lurker-Ed. I instinctively start to wonder what the girls are thinking and where they are going. It´s like they are having their own little private moment putting on makeup in public places. I guess it´s sort of a rare situation like that.

The one with the woman that is looking straight in the camera (and she looks disturbed) is funny. It has a different feel than the others. Also the one where the woman sees Ed in her mirror is a bit different, but she looks more suprised to see someone. Like right before she has time to react.

The black and white photo of the woman with a big watch is my favourite. She is the one that I identify with the most. I don´t really know why. It just gets to me.

The part by Clint Woodside is really cool and wonderful. It´s like flipping through someone else´s summer vacation to their almost deserted hometown. It´s almost adventurous.

I went for a little hike in the woods not far from here with my dog today. A little in on the road we found some tracks from a dog, and a moose. We followed them far into the woods untill we found the spot where there had been a struggle and the moose had been shot by the hunter.

I finally found a place to develop black and white film for a reasonable price, I am excited.

Ed, would you recommend chasing the job of becoming a graphic designer for a large skate company? Is it a good job? It seems like it would be fun, because of the intricate artwork you do for each board... yet it seems like you wouldn't have much to do. Whats your honest opinion?
