4th of July 2013 in HB

Huntington Beach is always packed with people on the 4th of July. Deanna and I spent 9 hours on our feet shooting around the Pier and Main street. Here is "Just the tip." Look for Deanna's photos on her blog in the future.

I posted a fat instagram comment thanking all of you guys for the birthday wishes. I guess insta only tolerates so many @'s in a comment. Thanks a lot guys! It made me feel good.

I wonder how old that kid is that wants to get sponsored. I realized it would never happen a while ago. you know that magic when you first start, never knowing how good you'll get.

America. I think about some of the things I buy and I feel kind of embarassed. LIke today I bought a shoe rack for my door. shit. I have so many shoes I need a rack to put in my room. I suck and am killing the planet.

Ed in canadaaaaa. totally drove past me bro :(

glad to see studded belts still alive. remember 2005

Soncho's hat is cool. It would be cool to like have a toy machine american flag I can hang on my wall. logos fully out.

S. Your blog has been really poppin lately.

I would be down with that fashion issue. You have to be pretty oblivious to not realize that fashion is a big part of skateboarding. C'mon. If cardiel was skating airspeeds right now everybody would flip their shit or you have no sense of dressing yourself and probably skate in fat globes.

kinda funny how HUF had to make dylan shoes for him getting on the team.

Holidays in HB look nuts, I'm not sure how crowded it is in my area because I have always had to work during holidays.

Ed in Portland, I would have totally lurked the streets trying to find him but I had to work.

Fashion is good, even if it perpetuates needless consumerism, I am a sucker for fashion photography

Thanks, JGonz!
I´ll try to get you guys a digital copy of that issue.

Leaving for Portugal tomorrow. Eggs was there. Missed him. Small Planet.
No wifi in my place there. Should be a challenge.

I like the photos. The old lady with the CBC Shirt reminded me of my childhood nightmare. This guy:
